Abbie & Doug. From the start, anyone who knew them knew they were meant to be. They get each other. They make each other laugh. They are their truest selves when they are with the other. Their wedding was the perfect day. It was simple and elegant, honest and pure - it was a beautiful reflection of them both. They were surrounded by the people who love them, and there was so much joy.
All the day's events were held at The Old Stone Mill 1792, in Glenville, PA. It was a fantastic backdrop for the day's events. Both the bride and groom got ready in the gorgeous, restored mill. Melissa helped to make everyone's hair picture perfect and Ashli provided amazing make-up.
Look at this beautiful bride. Abbie, you are stunning.
The handsome groom.
My favorite part of the wedding day is always the first look. These two had a first touch (I loved Abbie's expression!!), a first note, and a first look. I feel so honored to capture these moments.
We were able to take all of the formal pictures before the wedding, so that after the ceremony everyone could go straight to the reception. I'd like to assure you that this is a real wedding; these are real people, not models. They all just happen to be gorgeous!
The ceremony was perfectly Abbie and Doug. There were touching moments and meaningful promises exchanged.
Every detail of the day was perfect.
The reception was a delightful end to a beautiful day. The DJ from Dapper Appetite made the party so fun! Missions BBQ provided a delicious meal, and Abbie's family created all the yummy desserts and wine favors!
It was a lovely wedding day for two people who are made for each other, and it was an honor to capture their special day.
A huge special thanks to my second shooter (who is absolutely amazing) - Katie, from K. Grace Photography.
I hope you enjoy your preview - thank you so much for choosing me to capture your wedding day!
